Fix Brewery was one of the first and largest breweries in Greece. It was founded in 1864 by Johann Karl Fix, who was inspired by his father who started brewing beer 30 years earlier.

For 100 years they had a monopoly on the Greek beer market and were official suppliers to the Greek royal house. Unfortunately, the brewery went bankrupt in 1983, but was revived in 2009 where it is again brewed at the Olympic Brewery in Greece.

Here it regained popularity with the population and is known as a historic, tasty beer perfect for the hot summer months. Fix is ​​today among the 3 best-selling beers in the country, and the beer has won several awards for its taste.

In Greece, 60% of all beer is sold between May and September, so drinking beer in Greece is clearly a weather dependent thing. Fix beer is available in 2 varieties, Fix Hellas which is a light, aromatic lager with floral notes and a pleasant bitterness, and Fix Dark which is a dark lager with deep notes of licorice and caramel.
