After several requests, we have now finally decided to create High School in Crete, which is exclusively about singing. There will be singing lessons every day for both new and more experienced singers. There will be lessons in choral singing every day - and during the week solo lessons are offered if you feel up to it. There will be both culinary and other experiences that you won't want to miss, but most of all pleasant gatherings with others who all like to sing. Both rhythmic songs and songs from the High School Songbook are sung.
Sing in Crete
It is wonderful to sing and wonderful to have a holiday. That is why we have combined this in this trip with a week's holiday filled with singing under southern skies?
The trip is for everyone who enjoys singing, regardless of what conditions and what level you are at. So whether you've sung before or are a complete beginner, it doesn't matter - as long as you have the desire to sing for a week with other singing enthusiasts - all under expert and professional guidance 😊
During the entire course, you are in the good, knowledgeable hands of Anja Brejner Højgaard, who has many years of experience as a choir leader, teacher, musician and singer.
In addition, our own tour guide Michael Halle, who when he is not travelling, is a professional singer and also has many years of choir experience, is on the sidelines.
You yourself have an influence on the repertoire
In order to really enjoy singing, it is an advantage to sing something that you yourself really like. Therefore, it will be possible to choose/bring repertoire for solo sessions and make suggestions for the choir repertoire.
You will all hear more about this in good time before departure.
Not just singing
In addition to getting a lot of joy from singing every day, we also need to have some experiences. An excursion to the small mountain village of Drakona has therefore also been planned, where we will have a traditional Greek authentic lunch at Dounias. A trip that truly expresses the authentic Crete, where the food is prepared over an open fire in clay pots and everything comes from the tavern's own garden and animal husbandry - organically grown, of course. In addition, there is a celebratory dinner at Romeo's Restaurant, which is within walking distance of our hotel. At Romeos we are spoiled with particularly tasty modernizations of the classic Greek dishes.
Accommodation
You will stay at the 3-star Hotel Atrion, located 200 meters from the beach. You will be accommodated in a single or double room, depending on your booking. All rooms have a separate bathroom and a balcony or terrace.
The price of ONLY NOK 9,995 is based on 2 people in a shared double room when both travelers book at the same time. If a single room is desired, this can be purchased additionally when ordering for DKK 1,995.

The high school tour departs from Billund and Copenhagen 20/4-24 with return 27/4-24 and we have space for approx. 20 people.

We reserve the right to cancel the trip and thus refund the full amount paid if the trip cannot be completed due to lack of registration, force majeure or other external circumstances.
Meeting time on departure is no later than 2 hours before departure.

What does it cost?
The price for this trip is currently ONLY DKK 9,995 (Normal price DKK 11,995)
The price is per. person with accommodation in a nice shared double room, if both travelers book at the same time. If a single room is desired, this can be purchased additionally for DKK 1,995 on the order form.
A deposit of DKK 1,400 must be paid per travelers (+ possibly additional order of cancellation insurance/travel insurance, if desired). The remaining part must be paid no later than 60 days before departure. Payment specification appears when ordering.
Discount codes for use when purchasing goods at Elenas CANNOT be used when booking travel.
