Hass Avocados are some of the best in Avocados. Hass is the only variety where the skin changes color from green to dark when it is ready to eat. It is an oily Avocado with a creamy, nutty texture that is both beautiful when served and with a fantastic taste that you easily become addicted to.
With a very high number of unsaturated fatty acids, avocado is a healthy fruit with a multitude of uses.
When we deliver Avocados to you they are unripe. If you want to speed up the ripening process, you can advantageously put it together with bananas, oranges or apples, which release ethylene.
Storage and shelf life:
On receipt, you should review the fruits received and check that the Avocados are intact. Do not press on the fruit to check if it is OK, as this could damage the fruit itself.
As these are natural fruits, of course we cannot promise or guarantee any kind of shelf life. However, we advise that you store your Avocados in a dark and cool place (best in the fridge) and take them out for ripening as needed. When stored in a refrigerator (approx. 5 degrees), they will be able to last for up to a month.
