Lovely deep red red wine with robust tannins and a long aftertaste. It is made from 100% Xinomavro grapes, which are known for producing wines that can be very closely compared to the very famous Italian Barolo!
The nose is quickly hit by red aromatic fruits, and the taste follows suit. In addition to the red fruits, you can also taste deep notes of leather and spices.
Cavino Naoussa is grown in the area of Naoussa in Greek Macedonia. This area is especially known for growing the wonderful grape variety Xinomavro!
This exquisite red wine is best served with heavier meat dishes such as a red steak, flavorful stews or creamy pasta dishes.
