Gaia Thalassitis Submerged, produced in only 500 pieces. annually, is stored on the seabed, 29 meters down, off the coast of Santorini for 5 years before being retrieved from its underwater journey. Not all bottles survive this journey and can cope with the hardships and sometimes challenging weather conditions, but those that do become an exclusive wine and a definite Limited Edition!

This white wine is produced from Santorini's original grape variety, Assyrtiko, and gives you a unique taste experience of a classic Santorini wine, with a wonderful nutty aftertaste. Thalassitis takes you on an underwater adventure full of mussels and other shellfish that also leave their mark on the bottle itself.

What makes Gaia Thalassitis Submerged unique is that the storage itself, 29 meters below sea level, takes place at constant pressure, constant low temperature, minimal light and adjusted oxygen content. It gives you a wine experience far beyond the usual, and a journey to the deep sea off the coast of Santorini.
