Tale of Santorini

When you think of beautiful Greece, you think of Crete, Athens, but there is a beautiful island with a lovely location facing the beautiful Mediterranean Sea, Santorini.

The island is very well known for the beautiful houses and buildings that give a unique image with the beautiful blue and white colors that also characterize the Greek flag.

Santorini is a volcanic island, and there is no doubt about that when you visit it. You don't have to look very hard before you spot the volcano Nea Kameni, which is clearly visible in the background.

Besides all this, Santorini (whose official name is Thira) is also the place where the grape variety Assyrtiko originally belongs, which we know from, among other things, the Greek wine producer Gaia's Thalassitis.
