The story of MAMOS
The story of MAMOS begins back in 1876 in the large port city of Patras, which is today the third largest city in Greece.
MAMOS is named after Greece's first certified brewer, Petros Mamos, whose father is said to be the founder behind the beer, which to this day still has the same recipe as 145 years ago.
It was therefore the beginning of a journey where MAMOS even went out of production, then resurrected from the dead to the living, where today it is a well-known and recognized beer in Greece!
In fact, it must be said that Petros Mamo's father, who was also the first Ford dealer in Greece, got into the beer business when he married Eliza Fix. Yes God knows what family she was from...?
